About Relia-Easy
The purpose of Relia-Easy is to explain (un-)reliability to anyone involved as easy as possible without statistics or complicated mathematics.
Relia-easy is primarily focused on the Dutch market but not limited to.
History
The founder has worked for over 41 years in various disciplines, all directly or indirectly related to reliability matters like in development, manufacturing and service. After his retirement he founded Relia-Easy in 2006 as a consultancy on reliability matters, primarily intended to share his experience to all who are interested.
Activities
It concerns the next activities:
- General information by means of these articles on this simple straight forward text based website
- Writing a book about the subject of unreliability with more detailed imformation than on this website. Planning 2009
- Presentations on various occasions about a specific unreliability subject.
- A basic course for beginners.
It is noticed that insufficient basic knowledge especially with the top-down management is a primary cause for long standing unreliability. This course can be / should be followed by anyone in a company who is:
- directly involved with reliability like development, reliability engineering (bottom-up)
- directly involved with unreliability like all managers (top-down) who can make decisions in money, resources and time
- all other disciplines like quality people, manufacturing, service who can not improve the intrinsic reliability of a product but only can make it worse. Nevertheless they play an important role in signaling potential reliability and unreliability problems
- Supporting activities like reliability analysis of customer complaints.
